Kirsty started skating when she was 6 years old, where she attended the Saturday morning children's courses at the Guildford Spectrum. At the age of 7 she started taking private lessons and began to compete in various open competitions around the United Kingdom. She quickly made her mark on the skating world where she won many of her competitions. She is now a member of the Great Britain Performance Squad.

Kirsty competed in her first British Championships in 2005 and finished a fantastic 5th place. In 2006 she placed 2nd in the British Novice Ladies Championships and 3rd in the 2007 British Championships. Kirsty has now moved up to the British Junior Ladies Championships where she achieved 5th place in her debut appearance.

In 2008 she competed in her second international competition in Stockholm, Sweden. Kirsty proved she was world class skater by securing a 3rd place in the Stockholm Trophy for Junior Ladies and 4th place at the Santa Claus Cup in Budapest in 2009.

Kirsty has played one of the leading roles in many of the Guildford Spectrum Pantomimes on Ice. This December, Kirsty played the role of Jack in the 2009 pantomime 'Jack and the Beanstalkon Ice' performing in front of over 7000 people.
